Okay so..here's the deal.
i signed up for nanowrimo
(national novel writing month)
in june. For nanowrimo, you have to write a novel in a month. the length is according to your word count goal. if you win you get tons of writer's goodies and a code so you can get your book printed.
and guess who has hardly worked on their novel at all??
yeah me.
So i lowered my word count goal to 3500.. and i've been trying to work on it over the break..
i just can't get any good ideas. i don't know how to bring everything together and i feel like i'm just copying other books.
writers: anyone else feel that way?
So yeah. I need your help.

what about the diary of a brat thing? that was funny! and you could do something like the class story book thing that you did...

luke thinks that it's funny too :D But the problem is I already started the book, i just need to put stuff in it. maybe i should have said that before...
The book is pretty serious though.. and I told you what it was about. You know about how they injected animal stuff into humans so now they are like crazy and cannibalistic
Oh my goodness! That sounds awesome!!!! I seriously need to sign up for this thing!! Is it like a website??? I have so many story/novel ideas, but that's crazy that you have to right it in a month! My stories take sooo long. I just thought of a cool story idea in the shower yesterday (I get all my good ideas in the shower :) that I'll have to share with you later. ANYWAY, I also thought of a cool name that could be either gender: Ren.
Any other ideas you need? You should write a comedy. And from writer to writer, I always feel like I'm copying other books even though it feels original. You just have to take that risk because chances are, somebody will already have that idea but you should still write it!!

you should name one of the characters Sevyn, or Four. i sit by this girl in history named Sevyn!
or you could name a character after me! jk, you dont have to.

And anna, for next year..the website is ywp.nanowrimo.org and you can sign up any time of the year!! You just submit the words you've written and it counts them, and you can customize your word count goal. and it's just a first draft too.. it is so fun!! For sure do it next year!

Sweet! Is it free? hopefully because this website sounds amazing!! I'll try to think of some more names if you want them... Whenever I name characters in my stories, it takes like, two weeks to think of one name. I'm really bad at thinking up names.... :)

i like the names isabella and dianna. if you don't like isabella because it's like bella in twilight, name her isabelle. to make it seem more real throw in experiences from your life but change them to fit the story. if you ever had a diary you can change your entries to make it more interesting or miserable or whatever. also you can try to take a bunch of your dreams and fit it into a really weird story. i noticed that lately i've really been liking somewhat realistic girly stories that have action and adventure but also have the real thoughts and situations of being a teenage girl. and don't make your main character depressed. too many books are ruined by that. and throw some comedy in, but if you want to make it super awesome, don't make the whole thing a comedy.
