sweats, sweats, sweats.
They are the love of my life. They are always there for me. Whenever I'm having a bad day, I can count on those worn out, black sweats to be squished up in my pajama drawer when I get home.
I wear them to school. I wear them to bed. I wear them in every season. I wear them on Saturdays, sundays, and every weekday when I get home.
My favorite moment of the day is taking off my jeans and slipping into the comfortable fabric. I love not caring about how I look-as long as I have my baggy sweats on I feel great.
They all carry memories. My first pair of sweats were from seventh grade when I was a manager on the basketball team. I was SO excited to get them-and when I did, I wore them to school at least once a week. I had AVERY written on the butt, big and bold. I cherished these sweats.
Then...came volleyball season. In 8th grade I was so ready to get another pair of sweats. My seventh grade ones were a little worn out, the letters on the butt cracking. This time i got DRUYON written on my butt, and volleyball was written down the side.
I got my 3rd pair during the basketball season in 8th grade. These were the best by far. SUPER comfy, SUPER long, SUPER baggy. Super soft. The perfect sweats. I didn't have my name on my butt...but basketball was written down the side.
All of my sweats carry the memories of that season and the fun times i had. it reminds me of the improvement i made, the people i met, and the experiences i'll always remember.
i can't wait to add another to my collection.
